Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri

Happy Eid Mubarak to all Muslims πŸŽ†πŸŽ‡πŸŽ‰✨ May this years trials and tribulations become foundations of a better tomorrow. Thank you for praying for us this whole holy month of Ramadhan . Have a blessed Eid. People visit their relatives, host parties also known as iftaar, hug their loved ones, and give greetings on this day. However, due to the coronavirus outbreak this year the festivities are going to a little different with the lockdown and social distancing in place. Hope everyone is celebrating responsibly with their families and staying safe. We will celebrate together again soon #peace.

Nuzul Al-Quran

The entire month of Ramadan is an occasion for month-long fasting, prayer, mosque attendance, and reading of Quranic Suras (chapters) and Ayat (verses). Muslims do not claim to know the exact day on which Muhammad first began receiving revelations from Allah through the angel Jibrail, but many Sunni Muslims observe Nuzul Al-Quran on the 27th of Ramadan. However, in Malaysia, it is kept on the 17th of Ramadan. Nuzul Al-Quran is only a public holiday in areas of Malaysia with large Muslim populations, which includes most states but excludes east Malaysia and a few areas in west Malaysia as well. The Prophet Muhammad is said to have been visited by the angel Jibrail while meditating in a small cave on Mount Hira’, just outside of Mecca. He isolated himself in the cave to escape from the evil doings of the people. Malaysia Vesak Day is a festival celebrated by Buddhists all across the world, especially in Malaysia.
