Have a blessed Eid. People visit their relatives, host parties also known as iftaar, hug their loved ones, and give greetings on this day. However, due to the coronavirus outbreak this year the festivities are going to a little different with the lockdown and social distancing in place. Hope everyone is celebrating responsibly with their families and staying safe. The entire month of Ramadan is an occasion for month-long fasting, prayer, mosque attendance, and reading of Quranic Suras (chapters) and Ayat (verses). Muslims do not claim to know the exact day on which Muhammad first began receiving revelations from Allah through the angel Jibrail, but many Sunni Muslims observe Nuzul Al-Quran on the 27th of Ramadan.
