Nuzul Al-Quran

The entire month of Ramadan is an occasion for month-long fasting, prayer, mosque attendance, and reading of Quranic Suras (chapters) and Ayat (verses). Muslims do not claim to know the exact day on which Muhammad first began receiving revelations from Allah through the angel Jibrail, but many Sunni Muslims observe Nuzul Al-Quran on the 27th of Ramadan. However, in Malaysia, it is kept on the 17th of Ramadan. Nuzul Al-Quran is only a public holiday in areas of Malaysia with large Muslim populations, which includes most states but excludes east Malaysia and a few areas in west Malaysia as well. The Prophet Muhammad is said to have been visited by the angel Jibrail while meditating in a small cave on Mount Hira’, just outside of Mecca. He isolated himself in the cave to escape from the evil doings of the people. He is said to have been appointed the “last prophet of Allah” and to have received daily revelations for 23 years until his death. Many Muslims and western tourists v

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother’s Day to all moms, everywhere, for everything you do!🌸🌹 Today is her day. She, who doesn't sleep until you're home, even when the sun is already rising.  She, who turns a simple cold into a third world war, who tells you to clean your room because she's not your maid, but when you return home everything is tidy and in its place.  She, who won't let you leave home until you finish your breakfast. Who tells you, "You're not everyone." when you compare yourself to other people. Today is her day, the person who used to tell me to always take a coat with me because it might get cold later.  The person who taught me to see the good side of bad things, because it's easier to face life when you see the glass half full. Today is her day.  She was by my side in all situations, telling me what I needed to hear even when it's not what I want to hear.  She held me so that I could keep standing when my knees hurt and I coul

Ramadan Kareem 2020 is a 9th month on the Muslims calendar, which is known as Fasting month also, which is the known to be one of the important parts of 5 pillars of Islam. To all Muslims, may this Ramadan bring lots of happiness, prosperity, and togetherness for you and your family. Furthermore, fasting also teaches tolerance and patience in yourself. And not just this but fasting also teaches to stay away from any of the sinful emotions including anger.  Due to the virus outbreak - which has infected nearly 2,700,000 persons so far across the globe and claimed over 188,000 lives - several countries are under a state of lockdown. The Islamic nations are no exception, with almost all Muslim-majority nations announcing a closure on mosques, shrines and other holy places.  Saudi Arabia, where the two holiest sites of Islam - Kaaba in Makkah and Masjid-e-Nabvi (Prophet's Mosque) in Madinah - is also under a heightened state of shutdown due to the threat posed by coronavirus.

Israk Mikraj

The story of Prophet Muhammad's journey from the City of Mecca to Al-Aqsa Mosque. The events of Israk and the Mikraj of His Prophet Muhammad were a great test of Allah SWT for His servants. It is so unique that it overcomes the thinking of ordinary humans. This is because the distance is approximately 1,250 kilometers. It is as if the words of Saidina Abu Bakr RA's great confession on the morning of Prophet Muhammad came to earth after he was taken down from the Mikraj. Abu Jahal joked to Saidina Abu Bakr RA, "Do you believe that while traveling normally takes months, this is your best friend to say Israk and Mikraj in just one night?". Then with full confidence, Saidina Abu Bakr answered firmly, In the sense, "If Muhammad had said so, I would have believed, even if it went beyond that." In the expression of the Prophet's words, Saidina Abu Bakr was given the title of As-Siddiq. Allah Almighty shows His power by bringing great distan
